We can honestly use a picture from Black Flag or Rogue and most people wouldn't notice

More an expansion pack than a sequel, the few new features it brings to the table aren't anywhere near enough, and the new classes are worse than samey: They're boring. I played all five to an extent and never got excited when I leveled up, because nothing about their skill trees was interesting.

I don't know, man, it's Call of Duty. You know the story. They put like two new features on top of the old game and OH MY GOD IT'S SO ADVANCED, right?

The Elder Scrolls is a series that nobody nobody asked to be turned into a multplayer. But that didn't stop Zenimax Media from nabbing The Old Republic's engine and demolishing their own series in its place. Apart from a well-publicized advertising campaign, The Elder Scrolls: Online was released in just about every game store and hypermarket to lackluster fanfare. The game is generic, boring, but most importantly completely unnecessary. If we wanted to play WoW, we probably would have killed ourselves.

Wait there is a sequel?

Throwing out the majority of X/Y's innovations on the stale pokeymans formula, and even the one-off gimmicks of HeartGold and SoulSilver, Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire may be faithful remakes, but a tthis point, you may as well get a GBA emulator and go play Emerald.

And the real reason the Xbone and PS4 skimped on backwards compatibility comes to light: To sell us back the same bloody game we already own when someone's release schedule looks anemic. With only minor increases in graphics and performance, if you have a PS3 and the DLC for TLoU, there's literally no reason to buy this.
