SWERY once again shows his talent in mixing typically American settings with a Japanese twist. D4 non-liner story with the off-color side conversations makes for a great way to engage us in the cast.

The Divinity series has always had fantastic writing, and a prequel to the entire series just sets the tone for success. One of the only actually good Kickstarter projects out there, Larian delivers once more for classic RPG fans.

Like a "Best of" episode that's actually worth watching, the South Park game delivers the same topical wit and too-far punchlines that make the show uniquely enjoyable. And, unlike most TV-to-game adaptations, it provides a story that perfectly marries the compelling gameplay.

Telltale once again manages to inject a gripping story into the stagnating zombie genre. The Walking Dead: Season 2 follows Clementine as she journeys through swaths of undead and the humans who are just as dangerous. Pick your poison.

A faithful reproduction of the original's comics feel and writing, The Wolf Among Us gave the audience a well-told noir story with just enough magic stuff to keep it unique.

A story about a city and how real change may not be for the best. While the main story itself is pretty good, the function system and processes tie up your need to improve your skill sets while rewarding you with backstory, which in turn explains why your skills work the way they do. Also the main villians have really straightforward reasons to why they do what they do and Red's interactions with the transistor through the whole game is a natural progress of the narrative style Supergiant Games used in Bastion.

Set fifteen years after the original, the game gives the player a group of rangers who are tasked with trying to find out who murdered Ace, one of their fellow rangers.

Rather than using a tired old story of the Allies winning WWII once again, Wolfenstein switches things up by presenting an alternate reality where the Nazi forces win instead.
