SWERY once again shows his talent in mixing typically American settings with a Japanese twist. D4 non-liner story with the off-color side conversations makes for a great way to engage us in the cast.

Also the main villians have really straightforward reasons to why they do what they do and Red's interactions with the transistor through the whole game is a natural progress of the narrative style Supergiant Games used in Bastion.

Set fifteen years after the original, the game gives the player a group of rangers who are tasked with trying to find out who murdered Ace, one of their fellow rangers.

Rather than using a tired old story of the Allies winning WWII once again, Wolfenstein switches things up by presenting an alternate reality where the Nazi forces win instead.
